INTROVERTED

I am fairly quiet not because I fear interaction.
I am quiet because I am observing you,
figuring your hidden intents.

Do not take my silence as fear,
when I am only deciding whether
you are worthy enough to be a person
significant in my life.

I only fear wasting my time on someone new,
opening up and trusting 
the wrong person
yet again.
